Satara (Maharashtra): Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat inaugurated the branch of ‘Ranaragini’. The branch has been opened to increase capabilities of women. Mrs. Anjali Joshi of ‘Ranaragini’ was also present on the occasion. A VCD was shown explaining the supremacy of Hindu Dharma and traditions during the program.
Mrs. Joshi said, “Draupadi in Mahabharat, Mata Jijau, Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, Rani Padmini of Chittod were the true worshippers of the Goddess; but do today’s women worship Durga Devi in such a manner? Nowadays, girls and women wear tight clothes and show off their body. They do not like to apply ‘kumkum’. This is a hedonistic culture followed in the western countries. When women are raped and oppressed, we do not see them fighting against such oppression. The need for ‘Dharma-shikshan’ and ‘self-defense’ will be fulfilled through the medium of ‘Ranaragini’.
… then who will be born in your home, Afzal Khan or Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj?
Mr. Ramesh Shinde said, “Nowadays Hindus have started going to Durgahs instead of temples. They also make a vow to that ‘Peer’ for getting a male child. But with the blessings of a ‘Peer’ who will be born in your home, Afzal Khan or Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj? Will any ‘Peer’ give blessing for the birth of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj?”

Save temples from Anti-Hindus
Temples are the centres of Hindu Dharma. Anti Hindu forces like Muslims, Congress, Christians has constantly targetted them. HJS is fighting against these forces.
