Mapusa, (Goa): Blind following of western culture, lack of ‘Dharmacharan’ leading to a rise in immorality in society, lack of training on moral values and ‘Love Jihad’ has increased the oppression of Hindu women. Even in Goa, the incidents of oppression are on the rise e.g. cruel Mahanand Naik who throttled 16 young women, the much discussed incident at Ponda where a young woman had lost her life, collective raping of young women by luring them with cell phones or modern gadgets, to draw young women in the net by enticing them with good salaries and taking advantage of them in massage parlours, cases of teasing women, behaving indecently with women in crowded buses etc.

By keeping the ideal of brave women like Rajmata Jijau, Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar, Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has opened a branch of ‘Ranaragini’ for women to fight against the oppression and to create ‘Kshatra-tej’ in them. The program was attended by more than 1000 people.

The dream of fighting for oppression of women will be fulfilled through ‘Ranaragini’
–Hemashree Gadekar, Promoter, Bharatiya Rashtriya Sahakari Sangh

Today Hindu girls are being drawn away by Muslim youth whom they hardly know for the sake of  lust and for that, they are even ready to forget their parents who nurtured them for the last so many years. This is a very serious issue. In the past, Indian Woman was considered ideal examples of womanhood who wore ‘Nauvari’ Sarees which were ‘Sattvik’ and modestly draped around them.  The whole world looks up to the example of Indian woman for sacredness and purity (Pativratya) as she considers her husband as God and offers all services unto him. But today to finish Indian (Hindu) Culture, a plot has been hatched and attacks from Television Sets, Movies etc. are continuing on Hindu Culture. It was my dream for the last so many years to fight against all such atrocities and now I am sure that my dream will be fulfilled through the honorable work of ‘Ranaragini’.

Become warrior women like ‘Ranaragini’ ! – Mr. Sadashiv Dhond, Dharmashakti Sena

Mr. Sadashiv Dhond of Dharmashakti Sena said, “A girl was raped in Mumbai on the day of ‘Friendship day’. Today girls from well educated and moral families are following ‘Pub Culture’. These incidents prove that today’s young Hindu girls or women are blindly following western culture. Also there is an increase in oppression of women. Everyone wishes for the righteous leadership of  Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. So it is the need of the hour that every woman should vow to become Rajmata Jijabai. All Hindu women should take training on different levels:

  • Physically – so as to increase their physical ability,
  • Mentally – to become strong mentally by eradicating personality defects like being shy, fearful etc.
  • Spiritually – to become strong Spiritually, women should take Dharmashikshan seriously and should follow Hindu Dharma, to resist these atrocities in the future.

It is very essential that each woman should know about the atrocities on women and she should become fiercely angry about it.”
