Banners displayed by HJS removed under the guise of objectionable matter written on them

It has become difficult to even write true history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in India !

shivaji-maharaj-afzhalkhanIn a program organized by Information and Broadcasting Department of Goa Government at Farmagudi on the occasion of Shivjayanti, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had displayed two banners at the venue of the program on the topics of ‘Shivarayan cha Pratap’ and ‘Shivarayanchi Shobha-yatra’, after taking necessary permission from the organizers. The following information was written on the boards in Hindi.

Hindus should now decide if the historical facts written on the boards were wrong.

Banner 1 : Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharajancha Athava Pratap (Remember bravery shown by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj) – Eradicated terrorism by fighting against 5 powerful Muslim regimes for establishment of Hindu Rashtra. It is imperative to establish Hindu Rashtra as done by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for eradicating terrorism and corruption.

Banner 2 : Will Shivaji Maharaj like such procession ? Will incidents like consumption of liquor, indecent dancing, teasing of women etc. happening during procession help in remembering valour of Shivaji Maharaj ? People, who silently watch such wrongdoings although denigrating Shivaji Maharaj, also become a party to the sin committed.

A member organizing the program considered the matter written on the banners as objectionable and kept the banners upside down at the venue.
