Will Indian Govt. act against such atrocities on Hindus in Pakistan? Indian Govt. is always ready for welfare of all Muslims in the world, but it will not take care of a single Hindu though India is Hindu Majority country!

Maneshra (Pakistan): An unknown caller Saturday demanded Rs six million as Jizya from the Hindu community of Battagram district, it was learnt.

Sources said an unidentified caller posing himself a rep of Taliban phoned an active Hindu leader Dr Parkas in Battagram, and asked him to collect Rs6m Jizya (tax imposed on non-Muslims) from his Battagram community. The caller, according to sources, said those minorities living in Battagram must pay the Jizya. He asked the doctor to collect Rs6m from Hindu community and pay the amount to Taliban.

Sources said after the call, security agencies launched an inquiry to confirm the caller’s identity and those involved.

Sohail Khalid, DPO Battagram, when contacted told ‘The News’ he was unaware of the incident but made it clear that such a calls and threatening letters apparently by Taliban had also been received by the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and other people.

“I doubt the call was made by Taliban as in some cases people use fake identity to settle personal scores,” he remarked.
