Impose ban polluting crackers ! : Devout Hindus

Representation submitted by HJS to Govt. at Baroda (Gujarat)

District Collector Smt. Avantika Singh accepting representation from devout Hindus

Baroda (Gujarat) : Crackers burst during celebration of Diwali festival and even on other festivals and occasions causing harm to environment; also pictures of Deities and national leaders printed on covering of crackers get torn to pieces causing their desecration; therefore, ban should be imposed immediately on bursting of crackers. A representation to the above effect was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the District Collector, Smt. Avantika Singh. Delegation submitting the representation comprised of Shri. Rakesh Bhardwaj, Chief of ‘Om Sai Mitra Mandal’, Shri. Jitendra Parmar, Shri. Ravi Patel and Shri. Naresh Makwana of Bajarang Dal, Sou. Rekha Barve of HJS, Sou. Manisha Godbole and Sou. Sinnerkar of Sanatan Sanstha etc.

Highlights

  1. Shri. Jitendra Parmar of Bajarang Dal immediately came along with his 4 colleagues when contacted. Shri. Parmar had recently visited book-exhibition held during Navaratri and joined HJS drive for the first time.
  2. Shri. Rakesh bhai Shrivastav of ‘Om Sai Mitra Mandal’ met with an accident and his leg was injured; still he came for giving representation.
