All party meeting on the (fake) Anti-Superstition Bill

The Government is trying to pass the controversial bill on Eradication of Blind Faith; but it is learnt that an all-party meeting will be held in the office of Dy. Chief Minister before it is presented in the session as some of the peoples’ representatives have come up with certain modifications to the Bill. The meeting is proposed to be held on coming Monday. The State Government got the Bill passed in the winter session of the assembly amidst total chaos. Thereafter, in the summer session, it was not presented and now in monsoon session, Govt. is planning to put forth the same. However, before presenting it, some of the representatives wanted to suggest certain modifications and the proposed meeting is intended for the purpose. Today, in the assembly session, Shri Diwakar Raote, MLA said that it has been his experience of the last 4-5 assembly sessions that the Govt. brings such kind of bills purposely in the last week of the session so that the bill gets approved without much discussion. He has accused the Govt. of purposely not bringing the anti (Blind Faith) Bill for discussion. That time, Shri Gurunath Kulkarni, the Speaker informed about the proposed meeting.
