Hindus, who are becoming minority day by day, are appealed to come together through scenes and exhibits

Dombivali (Maharashtra): Hindus, earlier in majority in India, are now becoming minority whereas Muslims and Christians supposed to be in minority are becoming a majority force. Such bad condition needs to be changed by Hindus through unity. An exhibit presenting the above views has been created on the occasion of Sree Ganesha festival at Sree Ganesha Mandir Sansthan in Dombivali. (Congratulations to the Sansthan for depicting such exhibit to create awareness among Hindus. All Ganesha Committees should take inspiration from the above to awaken Hindus – Editor)

There is encouraging response from Hindus, to see this scene. In this scene, they have also displayed causes of Hindus going in minority such as political apathy, wooing of non-Hindus for votes, growing disparities due to reservation and corruption; indifference of Hindus towards righteousness and propagation of Dharma and lack of loyalty and devotion towards Dharma; lack of unity among Hindus due to their division in many castes and sects,  modern education, financial prosperity resulting in westernization of rich stratum of society, poverty, illiteracy, people from lower strata of society falling prey to various attractions, young generation going away from customs, traditions and ‘sanskars’ followed by Hindus etc. In the exhibit, an appeal is also made to Hindus to make efforts to change this situation. In another scene, few questions have been raised like ‘Will a child born today as a Hindu will remain Hindu after 50 years?’, ‘We celebrate birthdays by cutting cake, are indifferent towards Valentine Day celebrations, how long are we going to tolerate these things?’

The office bearers of the Festival committee said that the concept of the exhibit was taken from an article titled ‘………..Will there be Hindus?’ published in a weekly periodical called ‘Vivek’.
