Regional Hindu Convention held at Putturu (Karnataka)

Udupi (Karnataka) : Regional Hindu Convention was held recently by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Shri Padmavati Kalamandir of Shri Lakshmivyankatesh temple in Putturu, Karnataka.

The Convention was attended by many devout Hindus from Udupi, Kundapur, Karkal, Mudubidre, heads of Hindu organisations, advocates and Chief Officers of the temples. Shri. Raghvendra Rao, Chief Officer of Shri Shankarnarayan temple lit the auspicious lamp and inaugurated the Convention. Shri. Dinesh Nayak of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad, Shri. Vasant Nayak, Executive officer of Shri Lakshmivyankatesh temple, Shri. Anant Kamat, industrialist from Mangaluru and Shri. Ramanand Gowda, Prasar Sevak of Sanatan Sanstha were present on the dais.

If the atrocities committed on Hindu community are countered with legal means, appropriate remedies could be found immediately. In Pune, a mosque was built in the name of Afzal, the leader of terrorists involved in the attack on the Parliament. As soon as Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad filed a case against the construction of the mosque, the Court ordered demolition of the mosque within 5 days and the order was implemented.
