Outcome of HJS representation

Panvel (Maharashtra) : A shocking circular has been issued by Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board on 4th December 2014 in which it has been stated that lessons on the anti-superstitions Act should be included in the next year’s curriculum.

Warkari Sampradaya and Hindu organisations have submitted a representation to Shri. Prashant Tahkur, MLA, BJP from Panvel, demanding withdrawal of this circular and taking action against those responsible for issuing such circular; by presenting this subject during Assembly session.

The Government should be forced to take appropriate action so as to protect culture and Dharma. He promised to take up the issue during Assembly session.

Shri. Shivaji Vatkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, H.B.P. Ganesh Maharaj of ‘Konkan Payee Dindi’, Shri. Motilal Jain of Jain Samaj and Dr. Bharat Bugade of Sanatan Sanstha were present on the occasion.
