H.H. Krishnanand Saraswati’s blessings to HJS

On 7th of April 2006, H. H. Swami Krishnanand Saraswati of Sri Rama Dasa Mission, while addressing to the audience at Sri Rama Navami Hindu Maha Sammelan, Thiruvananthapuram told about the pictures drawn by M. F. Hussain denigrating Hindu deities. Devi, worshipped by Hindus from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, has been shown nude and copulating with bull. The artist has been doing this past 20 years and no Hindu is protesting it. He should be killed for this denigration of Hindu deities. I respect those Muslims who are protesting against the Danish cartoonist who had drawn Nabi’s picture. I request these Muslims to kill Hussain as the present Hindus have become corpse-like. Now since elections are near, we should ask the parties about what they are doing against Hussain.

The Government of India, instead of punishing Hussain, has awarded him. Hussain should be severely punished and not awarded.

A petition is also being sent by Sri Rama Dasa Mission to the Chief Minister of Kerala, Prime Minister and President of India, strongly protesting against the encouragement given to M. F. Hussain by the Government that is actually liable to protect the law of the land and to punish those who hurt religious sentiments; but instead the rulers have awarded him with Padmashree, Padmavibhushan and Padmabhushan. This petition was readout at the public function by H. H. Swami Krishnanand Saraswati and he asked the audience to show their support by saying "Jay Sriram" loudly. The public immediately did so.

After the discourse, a Christian came to Sanatan Sanstha’s granth pradarshan and enthusiastically enquired about what he should do to protest against Hussain and signed the protest petition.
