Panvel (Maharashtra): Former Member of Legislative Assembly Shri Mohan Patil and District President of the Raigadh Zilla Parishad Adv. (Sau.) Nilimatai Patil recently visited the Sanatan ashram at Devad, Panvel as a goodwill gesture. After getting acquainted with the activities of the Sanstha, Shri Patil promised to oppose the anti-faith bill at the Raigadh Zilla Parishad with a resolution.

The Patil couple after viewing the publications of the Sanstha  asked for supply of holy texts useful for the Zilla Parishad  school libraries such as the ones on self-defence and on Spiritual rites (sanskars) performed for children. After visiting the office of the ‘Daily Sanatan Prabhat’ they were informed about the mission of the daily towards  the nation and religion and they subscribed for a copy. They were also informed about the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti website. At the video recording section in the ashram after viewing the video on ‘Inauguration’they applauded the Sanstha for its indepth and detailed study of every spiritual topic. When leaving, Shri Patil exclaimed how he was feeling fulfilled and expressed the desire to return and spend more time in the ashram.

During conversation Shri Mohan Patil expressed how he had always opposed the ANIS anti-faith bill and how he had given a support letter to the Sanstha in his capacity as a legislator. Sau. Nilimatai Patil said that in their district they would make singing of the national anthem and putting up pictures of national leaders in the Christian missionary schools mandatory. She asked names of schools who did not comply with this for further action.

(We applaud Shri and Sau. Patil who decided to participate in the religious mission. – Editor)
