ANS condemned by participants of workshop

Sangali (Maharashtra): A workshop called ‘Mind and Brain’ started by Dr. Ashwini Kumar was asked to be closed down by ANS registering a complaint with the police. On the other hand, 200 participants of the workshop have claimed that they were personally and psychologically benefited by attending the workshop and ANS has no right to come in the way. The participants have also written a letter to re-start the workshop.

ANS filed a complaint with the police that ‘Mind and Brain’ program had no Government approval and the miracles shown in the program are all fabrication of Dr. Ashwini Kumar.  Police had cited some technical ground to close down the workshop. Police would have taken no action, had such workshop been conducted by some Muslim or Christian person. When participants of the workshop got the wind of it, they reacted very strongly against ANS and demanded to take action against ANS.

Two weeks ago, Dr. Ashwini Kumar held a conference which was free of cost for giving information about the workshop. About 7500 people participated in the session. Later the 4-days workshop was started. After completion of the first day workshop, members of ANS under the leadership of Dr. Pradeep Pail lodged a complaint without informing the participants of the workshop.

Many people met the participants later and boosted his morale. There were positive responses from the participants like one participant felt that his negative thoughts were reduced and he felt no fear of anything. Another person felt that the workshop includes both scientific and spiritual aspects. Participants were also taught ‘Dhyana-dharana’ and the workshop was worth attending. There was a Muslim participant who protested against closing of the workshop and said that he was benefited by the workshop.

(Congratulations to alert citizens for protesting against so-called intellectuals in ANS and demanding to re-start the workshop for welfare of the people. – Editor)
