Annul anti-faith bill: Hindu organizations write to Govt.

Pune (Maharashtra): Various Hindu organizations from Pune recently submitted a letter to the Government demanding annulment of the so-called anti-superstitions Act as it assaults Hindu Dharma. In a letter written to Shri. B. N. Kamble, the additional Secretary of Maharashtra Ministries, the Government is advised to annul the controversial Act as it had many clauses that interfere with observation of various traditions and customs prescribed in Hindu Dharma.

There were representatives of many organizations like Maharashtra Navanirman Sena, Bajarang Dal, Pune Nagar Hindu Sabha, Dharmaveer Sambhaji Majaraj Smruti Samiti, Khadakvasla Gram Panchayat, Pratapgad Utsav Samiti, Namadev Shimpi Samaj, Matoshree Pratishthan, Sinhgad Partishthan, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Akhand Nava-Hindustani Manch, Mukta (Women’s forum), New Sinhgad Area Cultural Association, Law students Council, Shri. Milnd Ekbote, former councilor, Shri. Bharat Sherekar and Punyashlok Shri Ahilyadevi Seva Mandal (Jejuri) on the occasion.
