Demand to put permanent ban on ANS

Ahmednagar (Maharashtra): ANS is trampling faith and religious sentiments of Hindus under the guise of eradication of black magic and superstitions. Prof. Hanumant Bhosale had criticized Saint H. H. Mauli Maharaj from Beed so also Shankaracharya and many other saints in a very disgraceful manner. This has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus and ban should be imposed on ANS. Devout Hindus made the above demand by submitting a representation.

In education field, ANS has been undertaking some projects for creating so-called awareness among students towards science, which are, on the contrary, misguiding students. ANS should not be allowed to have such project in any of the schools in Ahmednagar. Government officials who were instrumental in organizing a program by ANS may be suspended. Further, the much-discussed law on anti-superstitions jeopardizing observance of customs and rituals by Hindus should be annulled are other demands made in the representation. It has been warned by all Hindu organizations that if all demands are not met and if the Government does not take immediate action in connection with incident at Ambajogai, it would have adverse ramifications.

The representation was accepted by Shri. Rajendra Muthe, Dy. District Collector on behalf of District Collector in the presence of Shri. Dnyneshwar Maharaj Shinde of Warakari Seva Sangh, Shri. Akash Gholap from Bajarang Dal, Shri. Ashok Mulye from Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, S/Shri. Rhushabh Gadia, Sandip Khamkar, Santosh Gawali of Shiva Pratishthan, Shri. Anand Lahamage from Bharateeya Yuva Morcha, Shri. Bhagavanrao Avhad of BJP’s Nomad Front, Shri. Sunil Ambekar of Shree Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti etc. Shri.
