Howrah, West Bengal – A Hindu Rashtra Adhiveshan was organised in Howrah under the leadership of the Adi Shankaracharya Mandir Samajik Vikas Trust. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti actively participated in the event, which was attended by a large number of representatives from various pro-Hindu organisations and prominent saints.

Addressing the gathering, Shri. Shambhu Gaware, East and North-East India Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, said that the vision of Hindu Rashtra (Ram Rajya) was presented by the organisation’s source of inspiration, Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr Jayant Athavale, in his 1998 book ‘Ishwari Rajya ki Sthapana’.
He stressed that with changing circumstances and the recent shift in power in West Bengal, the responsibility of Hindu organisations has increased significantly.
He further emphasised that it is essential to make Hindus by birth into dutiful, awakened and organised Hindus.

The Adhiveshan was held at Sarat Sadan in Howrah and led by Debashish Goswami, Founder Trustee of the Adi Shankaracharya Mandir Samajik Vikas Trust and President of Aditya Vahini, Bengal.
Prominent attendees included Mahant Shrimad Dandi Swami Sureshwara Ashram Maharaj of Tarkeshwar Shiva Temple, Swami Nirgunanand Brahmagiri, Shrimad Hiranyamay Goswami, Dandi Swami Ramanand Tirth, Dr. Shobhan Bhattacharya, Swami Sarvanand Avadhoot, Bandhu Gaurav Brahmachari, Anirban Niyogi and Surendra Verma, among others.
The programme concluded with the collective singing of the complete Vande Mataram.
