Hindu organisations demand strict action

Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra – Two separate cases have been registered at the Shivajinagar Police Station here against fanatic Samir Maner, who lures minor Hindu girls in a love trap through social media, promises them of marriage, and assaults them. Upon receiving information about this, a large number of devout Hindus gathered in the Sakharpe Hospital area, where the fanatic Maner resides.

Samir Maner, a resident near Sakharpe Hospital in Ichalkaranji, has sexually assaulted several minor Hindu girls. Citizens remained silent due to fear of him, but on 27 June, this incident came to light owing to the initiative of some alert citizens and pro-Hindu organisations. Demanding strict punishment for the accused concerned, office-bearers of the Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad-Bajrang Dal submitted a memorandum to Sub-Divisional Police Officer Vikrant Gaikwad.
Present on this occasion were District Secretary Pandharinath Thanekare, District Contact Chief Santosh Hattikar, District Working President Datta Patil, District Joint Secretary Ananda Makote, Shivanand Swami and Mahendra Ahire of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Rameshkumar Jain, Harshita Shekhawat and Sadhana Dange of the women’s wing, along with other dignitaries.
