Jihadists Safin Godal and Mohammad Adil threaten her husband
Mumbai – A case of religious conversion has come to light in the Backbay Reclamation branch of State Bank of India located in the upmarket area of Nariman Point in Mumbai. The husband of a Hindu woman employee working there has alleged an attempt by her colleagues to convert her to Islam.

The husband has complained in writing to the senior manager of State Bank of India, Prakash Bharati. Additionally, the aggrieved husband filed a complaint at Sukher in his native village in Udaipur district of Rajasthan, after which Rajasthan Police have registered a case. The police have registered a case against the woman as well as State Bank employees Mohammad Adil and Safin Godal (also referred to as Safin Godan). This should now be called similar to the ‘corporate jihad’ of TCS.
Husband’s allegation of conspiracy to convert his wife
In the police complaint filed by the aggrieved husband, he stated that:
- For the past one year, his wife’s behaviour suddenly changed strangely. She started following Islamic customs and traditions. Along with this, she began reading Islamic texts, observing roza, and wearing a hijab.
- About 2 months ago, she told him that she was in a love relationship with State Bank employee Safin Abdul Qadir Godal and had expressed her wish to convert to Islam along with their 8-year-old daughter.
- Considering the seriousness of the matter, on 30 March he brought both of them to his native village of Sukher in Udaipur district of Rajasthan.
- However, on 18 April, Safin abducted his wife and daughter. Since then, there has been no trace of both of them. He says that he is certain that his wife is under immense pressure.
- Earlier, between 2020 and 2022, Mohammad Adil, another employee of the same State Bank, had financially cheated her and sexually abused her. At that time, she had also become pregnant. Later, he had got her abortion done.
- He believes that Adil and Safin have a big conspiracy to lure Hindu women into love traps and convert them to Islam. Both may be connected to some large Islamic organisation.
- At present, he is also unable to go to Mumbai for his job as Mohammad and Safin have repeatedly given him death threats.
