Hindu Janajagruti Samiti participates in 94th anniversary of ‘Truth’ & ‘Bharatajir’ in Kolkata
Kolkata, West Bengal – The 94th anniversary of the English weekly Truth and the Bengali weekly Bharatajir, published by Shastra Dharma Prachar Sabha, was celebrated on 19 April 2026 at its headquarters in Kolkata.
Pujya Gaur Maharaj from Hooghly graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Shri. Shambhu Gaware, North-East India State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, was invited as a speaker. In his address, he highlighted the need to create awareness about corporate jihad. Referring to the Nashik TCS incident, he stated that it would be entirely incorrect for parents to assume their children are safe merely because they are well-educated and employed in big companies. He emphasised that parents must make their children aware of prevailing societal realities, and society as a whole must remain vigilant and organised.
The programme was attended by senior members of Shastra Dharma Prachar Sabha, including Shri. Jaynarayan Senji and Sovan Sengupta, Pujya Shivnarayan Senji (Editor of Truth), Dr. Kaushikchandra Malik (Assistant Editor), Shri. Anirban Niyogi (Founder, Bharatiya Sadhak Samaj), Pandit Upendra Mohanji, and many devotees who participated both in person and online.
