
Raigarh, Chhattisgarh – On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, 272 converted Hindus performed ‘ghar wapsi’ (re-entry into Hinduism) at the Bargarh Dham complex in Kharsia, Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh. On the sacred grounds of Baba Siddheshwar Mahadev, they formally re-entered the Hindu fold, amid the chanting of Vedic mantras, at the Hindu Mahasangam programme. The event was organised under the joint aegis of Dharma Jagran Samanway Chhattisgarh Prant, Kalchuri Kalar Mahasangh, Sewa Nyay Utthan, and the Dilip Singh Judeo Foundation.

Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, the Akhil Bharatiya Ghar Wapsi Pramukh, washed the feet of all and respectfully welcomed them back into the Hindu faith.
