
Ajmer, Rajasthan – Devout Hindus from Ajmer who had attended the Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav held in Delhi in December 2025 organised various Dharma-related programmes and meetings at various locations across the city. The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti conducted awareness sessions during these meetings. A brief report about these programmes is given below.
1. Dharmashikshan programmes in temples
On the occasion of Paush Bada Prasadi, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organised awareness programmes on Dharmashikshan (education about Dharma) at the Shiv Temple in Adarsh Nagar and the Sitaram Temple in Panchsheel Colony, Ajmer. On this occasion, the HJS’ Rajasthan State Coordinator, Shri. Anand Jakhotiya, addressed the devotees. More than 250 devotees benefited from these programmes.
The programme at Adarsh Nagar was organised with the support of entrepreneur Shri. Santosh Acharya, while the programme at Panchsheel Colony was organised with the cooperation of Ms Pooja Chaudhary and priest Sampatraj Upadhyay. On this occasion, Mrs Sugandh Mishra explained the importance of chanting the name of one’s Kuladevata (Family Deity).
At the Panchsheel Colony programme, Shri. Sanjay Soni, who is presently residing in the United States, was also present. He expressed happiness over the scientific knowledge received regarding the practice of Dharma.
2. Meetings of intellectuals at Sai Vihar Colony and Kirtinagar
An active member of the Agrah Vrat Abhiyan, Shri. Rahul Sisodia, organised a meeting for intellectuals from Sai Vihar Colony at his residence. In this meeting, information was given about various campaigns undertaken by HJS for the protection of the Nation and Dharma. On this occasion, Shri. Anand Jakhotiya of HJS guided the attendees on the topic, ‘One’s responsibility towards the Nation and Dharma along with Dharmashikshan.’
Shri. Rahul Shrivastava and Shri. Bhanwar Singh Rathore shared the transformation experienced by themselves and their families through the practice of Dharma and spiritual discipline (sadhana).
Similarly, Shri. Gulabchand of the Hanuman Jagran Manch organised a meeting for intellectuals at Kirtinagar. Shri. Jakhotiya and Shri. Bhanwar Singh Rathore from HJS addressed this meeting.
3. Coordination meeting with office-bearers of ‘Adesh Seva Samiti’
Through the efforts of Shri. Jetho Balani, a reader of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti website, a coordination meeting was organised with the office-bearers of Adesh Seva Samiti. The meeting was attended by the President of Adesh Seva Samiti, Monu Sen, along with other office-bearers. Discussions were held on which initiatives could be jointly undertaken through mutual cooperation for the Nation and Dharma.
4. Spiritual guidance at the ‘Paush Bade’ festival
At the Shri Narmadeshwar Mahadev Temple in M.D. Colony, spiritual guidance was arranged during the Paush Bade festival through Shri. Jetho Balani. On this occasion, Mrs Sugandh Mishra and Mrs Chandra Lalwani explained the importance of chanting the names of the Kuladevata and Deity Dattatreya.
