Nelmangala (Karnataka) – Bengaluru police arrested Puneet Kerehalli leader of the ‘Rashtra Rakshan Dal’ that has launched a movement to trace Bangladesh’s illegal infiltrators. He alleged that a man named Hasan was a Bangladeshi illegal infiltrator. A complaint was filed against him at the Soldevanhalli Police Station and the Bagalgunte Police arrested Kerhalli.
Earlier on 18 December Benurghatta Police arrested Puneet Kerehalli and later he was released on bail. He had taken a team of people to Electronic City, Hebbagodi, and the nearby areas where the Bangladeshi infiltrators were living illegally; he entered some hutments and took videos of them. Police registered a case of illegal entry and creating law and order situation against Kerehalli and arrested him. Puneet who is voluntarily trying to trace illegal Bangladeshi Infiltrators, has to face cases being registered against him one after another.
Editorial Perspective
It is expected that the Police and Administration will trace the Bangladeshi Infiltrators who have entered illegally into the country; but they are unable to do so. Instead, the Police are arresting those who are helping them identify the illegal infiltrators. Do these Police work for India or for Bangladesh.
