Empowering Youth: Free two-day ‘Shaurya Jagruti Prashikshan Shibir’ in Durg

  • Jointly organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Vedic Gurukul Welfare Foundation

  • Practical self-defence training in karate, lathi–kathi and more

Durg, Chhattisgarh – In view of the prevailing situation in today’s society, it has become essential to empower young people both physically and mentally. With this objective in mind, a special ‘Shaurya Jagruti Prashikshan Shibir’ is being jointly organised in Durg (Chhattisgarh) by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Vedic Gurukul Welfare Foundation.
Organised with the motto ‘Saksham Yuva, Sashakta Bharat’ (Capable Youth, Strong Bharat), this camp is completely free of cost.

Under the guidance of experienced trainers, participants will be trained in:

  • Karate.
  • The art of using the lathi (stick).
  • Techniques to defend oneself using readily available objects in challenging situations (such as stones, sand etc.)
  • Strengthening mental resilience to confront negative tendencies and criminal mindsets.
  • Guidance from eminent personalities from the fields of administration, police, sports, and spirituality.

A similar ‘Shaurya Jagruti Prashikshan Shibir’ for young women was organised in Kolhapur. More than 1,000 young women attended that camp, and pledged to become ‘Ranragini’ (warrior women).
