Goa is Parshuram Bhoomi, not a land of material indulgence: Anand Jakhotia, HJS

Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Sabha held in Goa highlights the need for a Hindu Rashtra.

Shri. Anand Jakhotia of HJS addressing the Sabha

Vasco, Goa – Goa is Parshuram Bhoomi (Land of Bhagwan Parshuram), not a land of material indulgence. Sanatan Dharma is a vast and all-encompassing faith. Today, even foreigners are practising Sanatan culture; however, we ourselves are gradually forgetting our own culture. Today, Hindu religious processions are being attacked with stone-pelting, while Hindu land is being encroached upon by the Waqf Board. Due to the ‘Places of Worship Act’, our temples too are not adequately protected. Also, false narratives are being spread to malign Hinduism. To overcome all these challenges, it is the need of the hour for Hindus to practise Dharma in their personal lives and work towards the establishment of a Dharma-based Hindu Rashtra. This appeal was made by Shri. Anand Jakhotia of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at the Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Sabha held at Vasco.

The Sabha was organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at the Shri Ram Temple in Varnapuri, Vasco. On this occasion, Shri. Machindra Chari of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) was also present on the dais. In his address, Shri. Machindra Chari said, “We must take a pledge before God to protect Hindu Dharma and culture. At the same time, we should also resolve to protect the five mothers—our biological mother, Mother Cow (Gomata), our mother tongue, Mother Earth, and our Motherland. We must act to stop the attacks being carried out against Hindu Dharma.”
