All slaughterhouses will be demolished within 10 days – District Guardian Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil.

Tisgaon (Taluka Pathardi, District Ahilyanagar) – Open cattle slaughter has been occurring in illegal slaughterhouses here for several days now. Despite repeated complaints from locals, the administration has only taken superficial or temporary action.
In support of an ongoing hunger strike regarding this issue, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti presented a memorandum to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Ahilyanagar. Similar memorandums were submitted to District Guardian Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Resident Deputy District Collector Dadasaheb Geete, District Superintendent of Police Somnath Gharge, and Zonal Deputy Commissioner of Police Dattatray Karale.

Key demands of the memorandum
- Permanent closure of all slaughterhouses in the Tisgaon area.
- Strict implementation of the Cow Slaughter Prohibition Law, with immediate criminal cases registered against offenders.
- Immediate administrative action to address the demands of Saints and Gau-rakshaks (cow protectors) who are presently on hunger strike.
During the meeting, District Guardian Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil assured HJS that all illegal slaughterhouses in Tisgaon would be demolished within 10 days.

Representatives of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Mrs. Surekha Vidde and Shri. Rameshwar Bhukan; Shri. Ajinkya Gaikwad of Hindu Rashtra Samanvay Samiti, Shri. Nana Bhore of Hanuman Hindseva Mandal, several prominent pro-Hindu activists from Bajrang Dal and the Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh, and gau-rakshaks were present for the memoranda submission.

Demanding firm and permanent action against illegal slaughterhouses, Saints and gau-rakshaks from across the taluka, including H.B.P. Mukund Maharaj Jatdevalekar, Mahant Shri Adinath Shastri Maharaj of Tarkeshwar Garh, Samarthbhakt Mandarbua Ramdasi, Ram Maharaj Zhinjurke, Govind Maharaj Jatdevalekar, Gau-rakshak Mukund Bhau Garje, and others have been observing an indefinite hunger strike since 7 January.
