HJS calls for stringent anti-conversion & anti-love jihad laws in Chhattisgarh

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) – The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has placed demands before the Chhattisgarh government to reform the state’s educational curriculum, make anti-conversion laws more stringent, and implement effective legislation against love jihad. Shri. Sunil Ghanwat, the Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh State Organiser of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, recently met with senior ministers, public representatives, and administrative officials of Chhattisgarh state to submit a memorandum regarding these issues.

1.   Shri. Sunil Ghanwat met with the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri. Arun Sao, MLA Shri. Purandar Mishra, Durg MLA Shri. Gajendra Yadav, Rajnandgaon MP Shri. Santosh Pandey, and Inspector General of Police Shri. Sushil Dwivedi to discuss these subjects in detail.

2.   On this occasion, a demand was also made to include the history of national heroes, freedom fighters, and local revolutionaries in the entire educational curriculum of the State, including that of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Taking cognisance of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s demands, Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Arun Sao assured that necessary action would be taken. MLA Shri. Purandar Mishra also expressed a positive response to these demands. Meanwhile, MP Shri. Santosh Pandey described these issues as extremely important and assured that he would raise them in Parliament.
