Shaurya Jagruti Shibir held in Lanja; youth step forward for Hindu Rashtra

Lanja (Maharashtra) – “Will a Hindu Rashtra be simply handed over to us? To achieve it, we must practise and cultivate valour. Just as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj demonstrated courage and destroyed five Sultanates to establish Hindavi Swarajya, in the same way we must worship valour by actively participating in the work of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for the establishment of a Hindu Rashtra. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established Hindavi Swarajya with the blessings of Saints; likewise, we too must take part in the mission of establishing a Hindu Rashtra envisioned by Shri. Sachchidanand Parabrahman Dr Athavale”, said Govind Bhardwaj of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

He was guiding the youth at a Shaurya Jagruti Shibir (valour training camp) organised by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Kanavje Wadi on 20 December. Similar training classes were also organised at Sangarwadi in Rayapatan, which concluded on 21 December. During the concluding sessions, the trainees enthusiastically demonstrated the skills they had learnt and shared their experiences.

Shri. Govind Bhardwaj further said that Prabhu Shri Ram attacked Lanka with His ‘Vaanar Sena’; Shri Krishna supported Arjun and defeated the Kauravas; and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj united the Mavalas to establish Hindavi Swarajya. In the same way, to counter the attacks being carried out against Hindus and Hinduism today, we must engage in spiritual practice and the worship of valour, and actively participate in the mission of establishing a Hindu Rashtra.

Testimonials from participants

Ms Mansi Desai, Lanja: “I attended this camp for eleven days, during which I learnt how to use the lathi and dand-sakhli, along with gaining knowledge about Hindu dharma.”

Ms Samidha Bhalekar, Lanja: “I experienced great joy while attending this camp. It taught me essential self-defence skills.”

Ms Sakshi Kanavje, Lanja: “I had prior karate training but knew nothing about the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. When the Samiti’s seekers asked whether training should be started in Kanavje Wadi, I agreed. Through this camp, I also got the opportunity to train others. The camp has instilled courage in me, removed fear from my mind, and awakened a sense of bravery.”

Ms Deepti Jadhav, Lanja: “I am now confident that I can firmly resist if anyone attempts to misbehave with me. I also realised the importance of namajap (chanting). Chanting daily has reduced my screen time.”

Ms Neelam Dhalwalkar, Rayapatan: “The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s training camp began on 10 August 2025. We were taught how to practise dharma and received self-defence training. Episodes from the era of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, as well as from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, boosted our confidence. We were made aware that learning and practising these aspects is the need of the hour. For this, we are grateful to the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.”
