New Delhi: BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Pune, Dr. Medha Kulkarni, recently met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and brought to his attention a serious matter concerning the illegal declaration of central government and Cantonment Board land in Pune Cantonment as Waqf property.
Local residents have raised this alarming issue, alleging irregularities in land records, alteration of the legal status of properties, and a threat to the land management system of the Ministry of Defence.
Dr. Kulkarni has demanded an immediate and time-bound investigation into the matter, restoration of the land’s lawful ownership status, and strict action against those responsible.
