Panaji – Goa has previously witnessed instances of Bangladeshi infiltrators and Rohingyas being found in the State. In the recent robbery in Mapusa, the investigation has revealed the primary involvement of Bangladeshi infiltrators. The Uttar Pradesh Police Anti-Terrorism Squad had also recently exposed a religious conversion racket and arrested Ayesha, an associate of ‘Chhangur Baba’, from Old Goa. In separate incidents at Anjuna and Arpora, digital signboards of two shops displayed the message ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. All these developments are a matter of serious concern for national security. The The Hindu Rashtra Samanvay Samiti has submitted a memorandum to North Goa District Collector Mr. Ankit Yadav, demanding that anti-nationals, terrorists, and their local supporters be identified and traced, and strict action be taken against them.

The Samiti’s delegation comprised Shri. Satyavijay Naik of the Hindu Rashtra Samanvay Samiti, Shri. Devidas Gaonkar of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Shri. Jayesh Thali, Secretary of the Gomantak Mandir Mahasangha; Retired Captain Arvind Kumar; Shri. Suzan Naik and Shri. Vinod Warhankar of Goa Hindu Yuva Shakti; and Shri. Ramdas Sawaiverekar of the Bharat Mata Ki Jai organisation.

In its memorandum, the Samiti stated that, following the horrific bomb blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, the nation is once again faced with a grave threat to internal security. Highly educated radical Muslim individuals have also been found involved in terrorist activities. As per information received by investigating agencies after the Delhi blast, the next targets of the terrorists behind this conspiracy are major pilgrimage centres of India, which symbolise the faith of Hindus and the unity of the nation.  Investigating agencies and local police have recently uncovered terrorist networks and conspiracies spanning multiple states. A plot involving the use of toxic substances has also come to light. A comprehensive search operation must be carried out across the country, especially in sensitive areas, and that strict legal action should be taken against anti-nationals and their supporters.

Delegation meets Director General of Police Alok Kumar

The Samiti’s delegation also met Goa’s Director General of Police Mr. Alok Kumar and discussed various anti-national incidents occurring in Goa. These included the illegal stay of Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators, the display of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ messages on digital signboards of two shops in Anjuna and Arpora, and the rising cases of ‘love jihad’.
