Kolhapur, October 25 – At the ‘Yevalej Milk Corner’ shop in Kolhapur city, Hindutvavadis noticed that ‘Mentos’ candies imported from Indonesia, bearing ‘Halal’ certification, were being sold. Upon learning this, they immediately met the shopkeeper and explained how the ‘Halal’ certification can be harmful to Indians and how the funds earned through it are used to support jihadi terrorism. After this awareness talk, the shopkeeper removed all ‘Mentos’ products from sale and assured that he would no longer sell any items with ‘Halal’ certification.
Present on this occasion were Hindu Janajagruti Samiti members Shri Shivanand Swami, Mahendra Ahire, Pritam Pawar, Vishwas Patil, along with Hindu activist Shri Sachin Bhosale and Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh member Shri Ashok Gurav.
