
Nandurbar (Maharashtra) – On the auspicious occasion of Vasubaras, a beautiful initiative to perform the traditional worship of Gomata (the sacred cow revered in Hindu culture) was organised by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in Nandurbar. During the programme, the participants performed ritualistic worship of Gomata and explained the significance of Goseva (serving cattle).
Devotees from the local area participated in the worship ceremony with great enthusiasm. The Go-pujan was performed amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras. On this occasion, the attendees emphasised the importance of cow service and cow conservation. At the conclusion of the programme, everyone took a pledge to spread awareness in society about the protection of Gomata.
