
Satara – Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has assured that efforts will be made to introduce a law against “Love Jihad” during the upcoming Winter Assembly Session. Deputy CM Shinde was in Satara to attend a programme when a delegation from the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti called upon him. Mrs. Bhakti Dafle of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti submitted a memorandum demanding that a law be enacted against Love Jihad.

During the same event, the memorandum was also presented to Excise Minister and Guardian Minister of Satara District, Shambhuraj Desai, who responded positively to the Samiti’s demand.
