Bengaluru: “Islam and Christianity are present in all continents of the world. But the only country where Hindu Dharma is present is India. India is the country that gives true knowledge and light to the world. All sects are branches of the huge tree of Hinduism,” said Mr Sandeep Balkrishna, founder of ‘The Dharma Dispatch’. He was addressing over 500 devout Hindus and nationalists who participated in a spirited discussion on Urban Naxals – Internal Enemies of India who carry out Ideological Attacks. He further said, “Since Nehru’s time, there has been a tendency to call Islam and Christianity as Dharma. In reality, they are sects. The only true Dharma is Sanatan Hinduism. Indianness means a life lead by imbibing the values of this Sanatan Dharma”.

The event also featured the book-release of ‘Gauri Lankesh Murder and Anti-Hindu Conspiracy’ authored by Mr Chakravarty Sulibele, founder of ‘Yuva Brigade’. The event was attended by retired Justice of the Karnataka High Court P Krishna Bhat, Editor of Samvad TV Mr Vrushanka Bhat, State Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Mr Mohan Gowda, State President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Mr Deepak Rajagopal, and Mr Vinod of String Reveals and StringGeo OTT.

Mr Mohan Gowda said, “Sanatan Dharma has been attacked in various ways for centuries. There were physical attacks by Muslim invaders, while ideological attacks took place during the British era. But after independence, some urban Naxalites from our own country are continuously attacking Dharma, history and our places of faith. If a person’s religious beliefs are attacked, he becomes irreligious and then anti-Hindu. Therefore, such attacks need to be taken seriously”.

Retired Justice P. Krishna Bhatt said, “Hindu lifestyle is an ideology that protects everyone. But today, ideologies that harm Hindu Dharma are being encouraged. Although other sects are being given the impression of religious freedom, the question has arisen whether the law is cooperating in the destruction of Sanatan Dharma. Hindu Dharma is not a sect. Sects are narrow concepts; there is no scope for change in some sects. But the ideology of India is against these narrow concepts. Hindu Dharma has the capacity to accommodate everyone, so it can be called a giant banyan tree”.
