Mumbai – It is not possible to predict an attack, as crime and population have increased, and so have attacks by religious fanatics. Even in a developed city like Mumbai, the crime rate is not low. Especially in various cases of atrocities against women. Our first reaction should be to protect ourselves. It is not possible to depend on the police, administration or society for our protection. Therefore, everyone should take self-defense training, asserted Mr. Hemant Pujare here. He was speaking at a special programme ‘Utsav Bhakticha – Jagar Shauryacha’ organised by Bal Gopal Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal of Lower Parel in collaboration with Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. The programme was held on the night of September 3 from 7 to 8. The programme was conducted with special efforts of Mr Sachin Pawar.

Mr. Hemant Pujare addressed the audience on love jihad, how to prevent the degradation of the youth, how to repel atrocities on women, etc. In the end, the Samiti’s volunteers presented self-defense demonstrations.
