
Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – Police have registered a case against Hindus for making Pukkalam (flower artwork) based on Operation Sindoor. Some Hindus have been booked for putting up a poster with the picture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
On 4th September, some Hindus made some artworks in the vicinity of the Sri Parthasarathy Temple in Muthupillakad, Kollam district of Kerala, to commemorate Operation Sindoor. Kerala Police registered a case against Hindus for putting up flower artwork and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj placards with the intention of creating riots.

Kerala BJP condemned the unjust police action and demanded immediate withdrawal of the cases. ‘Kerala is not Pakistan, where celebrating the bravery of the Indian armed forces would be a crime,’ the BJP said.
This is Kerala. It is a proud part of India. Yet, an FIR has been lodged for making a Pookkalam with the words “Operation Sindoor” in it.
