Bengaluru – Malicious propaganda being spread against Dharmasthala, a sacred place of worship for millions of Hindus, has sparked intense anger within the Hindu community.
Despite an inquiry based on the statement of an unidentified individual, which revealed no truth in the allegations, certain YouTube channels and international media outlets have circulated misleading reports.
Community leaders have condemned this, stating that it is not merely an isolated incident but clearly part of a systematic conspiracy against Hindu religious sites.
Against this backdrop, on August 22, a protest was organized under the leadership of the Hindu Rashtra Samnvay Samiti in Bengaluru. A memorandum was submitted to the government and the Governor through the District Collector.
Present at the protest were Sri Mohan Gowda, State Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Sri Chandrashekhar of Yuva Brigade, Sri Sundresh Nargal of Sri Ram Sene, Sri Lakshman Gowda of Seva Kannadiga Trust, pro-Hindutva leaders Sri M.L. Shivakumar and Sri Sharath Kumar, along with several other Hindu leaders, advocates, and women participants. A similar memorandum was also submitted to the District Collector in Shivamogga.
Demands of the Hindus:
1. A full-fledged investigation into the insult of Dharmasthala by a Special Investigation Team (SIT).
2. Strict legal action against those spreading malicious propaganda.
3. A permanent system to protect Hindu religious centers from leftist pressure and disinformation campaigns.
