Pandharpur – While Ashadhi Vari was going on, meat was thrown at Vari in Pune. Various atheist organisations are infiltrating the Varo. After speaking the truth in a programme, we were threatened, our effigies were burnt. Someone is constantly attacking Dev, Desh and Dharma. The unseen hands should be found out and punished by the government. It is not right for us to sit still while injustice and atrocities are happening before our eyes. This policy of ‘turn the other cheek’ has never been in our culture. It was imposed on us. We should always be by Dharma, even if we have to lay down our lives for truth, Dharma and justice, appealed Mahant Guruvarya HBP Ramgiri Maharaj.

Sadguru Shri Gangagiri Maharaj Math had organized a Varkari Maha Adhiveshan on July 6 to address various issues of the Varkari community. Maharaj was addressing this Adhiveshan. Two thousand Varkaris and Hindu devotees were present. The attendees also issued a stern warning that the infiltration of anti-nationals, progressives and communists under the name of Samvidan Dindi was not acceptable to the Varkaris and to expect a befitting reply if they criticize Hindu Dharma. This adhiveshan was compered by H.B.P. Dattatray Chorge Maharaj.

This year, after carrying out a joint campaign with the Varkaris, we have seen a good change. This is a platform of Bhakti and Shakti, and in the future we should be able to witness the Dharmasatta (spirituality) keeping Rajsatta (politics) in check. The situation is currently critical and Christian missionaries have started a ‘Jesus Week’ like the Varkari Week. Therefore, anti-conversion law as well as an anti-love jihad law should be passed in the ongoing monsoon session asserted Sunil Ghanwat, the Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh State coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
