Raipur (Chhattisgarh) – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh State coordinator Sunil Ghanwat exposed a serious criminal case, wherein a fake complaint letter (Letter No./2025/A-0187) has been sent to the Prime Minister’s Office using his name, on April 25th, 2025. In this complaint, Ghanwat’s name, position and a fake letterhead having ‘Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Maharashtra Pradesh’ written on it have been used. Ghanwat is mentioned as ‘Shri. Sunil Ghanwat, Prant Sanghchalak’ on the letterhead. This is a well-planned conspiracy to defame me, Ghanwat clarified in a press conference here. On this occasion, Ram Bhakta Sena’s Chhattisgarh State Convenor Vikram Kewalani, Gaurakshaks Ankit Dwivedi and Subodh Rathi, BJP’s Chhattisgarh State Media Chief Amit Chimnani, National Vice President of International Sanatan Mahasangh Vishal Tamrakar and Shiv Sena’s Ashish Pareda were present on the stage.

In this case, Ghanwat and leaders of local pro-Hindu organizations have also filed a complaint in the office of the Superintendent of Police, Raipur. Ghanwat has also filed a written complaint in this regard in the office of the Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) in Pune and has demanded strict legal action against the culprits.

Ghanwat has said in the press release, ‘I have not sent any such complaint letter to the Prime Minister’s Office or appointed anyone to handle such complaints. The signature on the letter is also fake. This is a blatant fraud.’

Whom does the fake complaint target?

According to the available information, this fake complaint has made serious allegations of corruption against Chhattisgarh Agriculture and Tribal Welfare Minister Ramvichar Netam, as well as businessmen Rakesh Agarwal, Manoj Agarwal and Sunil Agarwal. The letter tries to defame the BJP by exaggerating the allegations. This clearly shows that the intention of this fake complaint was not only to tarnish the image of Sunil Ghanwat but also to target a large group out of political hatred and create instability.

Ghanwat further said that this entire act is like using an unrelated person to run one’s own agenda. This is a cowardly and criminally motivated conspiracy, which has caused a great harm to my social and public image.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti strongly condemns such false complaints and attempts of character assassination and expects the concerned administration to conduct a fair investigation into this matter and take immediate legal action against those who made the false complaints.

Editorial Perspective

This attempt to create a rift among pro-Hindu organizations and political parties is condemnable ! Strictest possible action should be taken against the anti-Hindu people behind this conspiracy.
