HJS demands action against rising Digital Conversions in Karnataka!

Bengaluru: Even after the implementation of the anti-conversion law in Karnataka, Christian missionaries are adopting new methods for conversions. On February 1st, near the Begur Post Office, two Christian women were found standing by the roadside, handing out visiting cards to innocent Hindus, saying, “If you have any problems, visit this website; you will find solutions to your issues.”

The visiting card mentioned JW.ORG, a Christian missionary website. The website states, “The government does not provide solutions for our financial problems; in heaven, God’s rule exists, and His kingdom is established. Jesus is its leader. He will destroy all false religions, including Sanatana Dharma. Not only that, but he will also destroy human governments, and those who do not listen to God will be destroyed. Those who believe in Jesus will be healed of their illnesses. He does not experience death, and he provides jobs and education to everyone. This is how our problems will be solved. To achieve this, pray to Jesus Christ, the God of heaven.”

This is a deceptive new method of conversion, and the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti strongly condemns it. Despite the presence of the anti-conversion law in Karnataka, such attempts to convert innocent people constitute a serious offense under the Anti-Conversion Law, the Drugs & Magic Remedies Act, and IPC Sections 420, 336, 337, and 338. The state government must investigate this matter and take strict legal action against those responsible, demanded Shri Mohan Gowda, the state spokesperson of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
