Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav unanimously approves proposals to commend Gita Press and condemn Congress

Gita Press in Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) entered its 100th year of service. Gita Press publishes Hindu scriptures. For this contribution, the Central Government honored Gita Press with the ‘Gandhi Shanti Award’. A proposal to commend Gita Press was met with a resounding approval from the delegates at the Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav.

The Congress party had opposed giving this award to Geeta Press. Congress leaders had likened this to rewarding Savarkar and Godse. A resolution protesting and condemning the Congress party was similarly passed with a resounding majority in the Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav.

Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale, National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, read out both proposals. About this, Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale said, “Congress has also tried to discredit Swatantryaveer Savarkar through this. The Congress party is trying to monopolize Gandhi. After India became independent, Gandhi suggested dissolving the Congress, but Congress ignored Gandhi’s advice. Congress makes anti-Hindu statements in India, and anti-national statements outside India. Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav condemns the Congress.”

Attendees approved these proposals while chanting ‘Jayatu Jayatu Hindu Rashtram’.
