When are Sadhvi Pradnya Singh and Col. Purohit going to be released ?

Many Hindus were arrested after bomb blast in Malegaon in 2008 and who are in jail for past 5 years. They are not done justice although all accusations made against them are false. Why ? Because they are Hindus ! Contrary is the case with Muslims. When are Hindu accused in Malegaon bomb blast going to get justice ? It is still a burning issue for Hindus even after 5 years. Given below are points presented by Shri. Arun Ramteerthkar, a senior journalist.

Malegaon bomb blast and saffron terrorism !

You may not remember now or even if you remember, you may not be serious about it ! Think about it ! If such situation was faced by some person in our family, then will we sit quietly like we do in case of Sadhvi Pradnya Singh and other 7 persons’ illegal detention ? They are not our blood relations; but Sadhvi is our ‘Dharma-bhagini (sister following same religion)’ and others are our ‘Dharma-bandhav (brothers following same religion)’. They were arrested in Malegaon bomb blast case when there was no proof of their involvement; only because they were Hindus. In all bomb blasts instigated before Malegaon bomb blast or even recent blasts at Patna before Narendra Modi’s public meeting, Muslims involvement has been brought to light. Even in case of Malegaon, initially, Muslims were arrested; but voices were raised that only Muslim youth are arrested after every bomb blast. Their involvement is found; but notorious Congress Government known for its Muslim appeasement, and that too, P Chidambaram, who was the then Home Minister, wanted to propagate the word ‘Hindu terrorist’. As a result, earlier investigations were treated as wrong and Sadhvi Pradnya Singh, Colonel Prasad Purohit, Major Umesh Upadhyay, ‘Sanskrut Scholar’ Pundit Sudhakar Chaturvedi, Swami Amrutananda Devteertha and other 3; Hindu citizens, were arrested in 2008. Words like Hindu terrorists, saffron terrorism were coined.

Why defamation of only Hindus ?

In all bomb blasts taken place after this, accused have been found as Muslims; therefore, now persons using such words are likely to be called as mentally unsound; but many people were attracted towards the word ‘Hindu terrorist’. Their brain stopped functioning that included even Sharad Pawar. “So far, real accused were not found but now they have been nabbed; now, bomb blasts will stop,” blurted out so-called far-sighted Sharad Pawar! He should try to recollect how many bomb blasts occurred after 2008. In short, it was game played to malign saffron flag and word ‘Hindu’ by arresting a Sadhvi, Colonel, Major and Sanskrut Pundit ! Before arresting Colonel and Major, it should have been thought that such action could benefit Pakistan. This is the reason for saying that Congress Government is capable of selling this country for political interests. On one hand, Pakistan’s ISI openly causes bloodshed in India; Indian army never does that nor did Purohit, Upadhyay did it; but our own Government foolishly branded them as terrorists giving a chance to Pakistan to harp on the issue. Of course, since 1947, Gandhiji has started the tradition of looking after interests of Pakistan.

Injustice to Hindus and concessions to Muslims !

Karkare’s ATS has not at all used their brains to arrest all these Hindu accused. All of them were called up and asked to come to a certain place; they reached the place as they were not afraid since they had done nothing wrong. Sadhvi Pradnya was actually busy but she travelled by train to reach the place. By calling them under some pretext and arresting them; it was later announced that all these were arrested with great skill. There is doubt against working of NIA which did such thing. A Muslim accused said that he was in Yeotmal when blast occurred; therefore, NIA officers went to Yeotmal to confirm; then the charge-sheet was withdrawn; but one Hindu accused gave proof of his being in Indore when the blast occurred; that was not considered. Karkare’s ATS was, anyway, useless. One officer from his squad used to brutally beat up Hindus for which he was presented President’s award. Presently, he has been arrested for taking bribe and facing inquiry. He has shown the caliber of ATS.   

All limits crossed while torturing Sadhvi !

One can understand if an accused man is beaten up; as many times, it leads to finding solution to crime; but the manner in which Sadhvi Pradnya Singh was tortured would make every Hindu blaze with anger. Male officers were investigating when they used to talk in vulgar language; purposely abused in indecent manner and the height of all was they used to force Sadhvi to see ‘blue films’. What kind of investigation is this ? Not 1 or 2; but she underwent narco test for 16 times but nothing was found because there was nothing as she was not involved. Due to these 16 Narcotic tests, Sadhvi has developed cancer. She is even denied any medical aid. ATS has behaved with her in so sinister manner as she is a Hindu Saint; that even in Pakistan, a prisoner would not undergo such torture. Taking out eyes of the ATS officer who showed ‘blue films’ to Sadhvi, would be apt punishment to him. The Home Minister of this country should at least order inquiry in this ‘blue film’ issue. He took initiative in writing a letter about arrests of Muslim youth. If he wants to wipe out the blot of being termed as pro-Muslim, he should find out the officer who showed blue films to Sadhvi in prison and punish him.

Colonel Prasad Purohit was an officer in army’s intelligence department. As an officer of Intelligence Department, he used to visit various places. He has been arrested under the accusation of stealing RDX from stock of army and using it in ‘Samjhauta Express’. The army declared that not even 1 gram RDX has been stolen from their stock. It has also been deduced after investigations that RDX was not used for explosion in Samjhauta Express. What other proof is required for Purohit’s innocence ? Still he is in jail. No proof has been found either against Sadhvi Pradnya Singh or Colonel Purohit but others are detained for assisting these two; proving their innocence.   

Release so-called Hindu accused !

It has been 5 years ! Prove that these accused are really terrorists. If they have really committed such serious crime, hang them; but at least file cases against them after 5 years. There is no investigation, there is no case; then for how many years more are they going to be detained ? Why activists from Human Right, who are always supporting Kashmiri terrorists or Press Council’s Markandey Katju, who always pokes his nose everywhere, are keeping their mouth shut now ? We are not complaining about Muslims accused in Malegaon bomb blast case who were released after 2 years; they could be really innocent. ATS or NIA have to complete their investigations by catching somebody and creating proofs. Doesn’t the same justice apply to so-called accused who are Hindus ? Central Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde should stipulate certain time limit for carrying investigations and filing case or release all accused if there are still no proofs and if nothing of these takes place, Hindu voters should not forget to whip Congress Government by voting against them. If Hindus have even a little sympathy towards Sadhvi Pradnya, Colonel Purohit and others, anti-Hindu Government has to be overthrown.
