Anti-superstitions Act to be strongly opposed in Legislative Council !

Pro-Hindu organizations submit representations to MLAs elected to Legislative Council from Mumbai, Thane and Raigad


Mumbai – Anti-superstitions Act has been passed in Legislative Assembly when it still has anti-Hindu clauses; therefore, unless all such clauses are not removed, the Act should not be passed; also the existing laws are capable to handle such type of offences; therefore, this Act should be cancelled. Delegation of pro-Hindu organizations met MLAs from Legislative Council with the above demand when many MLAs assured the delegation to oppose the Act in Legislative Council.

The following MLAs were met


Mumbai – Shiv Sena’s Shri. Anil Parab, leader of labourers Shri. Narendra Patil, NCP’s Shri. Ramesh Shendge, BJP-Mumbai’s President, advocate Ashish Shelar, Congress Party’s Shri. Subhash Chavan

Thane – Konkan Graduate Constituency’s Shri. Rajnath Mote and NCP’s Shri. Niranjan Davkhare

Raigad – Shri. Ganesh Tatkare from Roha
