Terror trail in Mangalore - NIA arrests Aysha Banu; Women victim of Love Jihad

The National Investigation Agencies sleuths have reportedly arrested a woman, Aysha Banu, resident of Panjimogaru in Mangalore on the charges of supplying money for the terror activities carried out and the recent serial blasts in Patna.

According to sources, Aysha Banu was arrested from Panjimogaru  residence by the NIA on November 11, Monday night and on November 12 Bihar Police which is investigating serial blast during recent Narendra Modi Rally in BJP has taken Aysha and her husband Zubair to undisclosed location and conducting interrogation.

It has said that Aysha Banu was operating as many as 35 bank accounts in different names and transacted over 2 crore rupees and had lured local youth to open bank accounts with the help of her aides Mohammad Kismet and Mohammad Fayaz of Lakhisarai in Bihar.

It is learnt, cash was remitted to these accounts from Pakistan and other countries.

The youths were reportedly given 10 per cent as commission and that the amounts were withdrawn by those youths from various ATMs.

This arrest has not only hit headlines for the terror activities but has once again given serious air to the Love Jihad angle where in its alleged that young Hindu Girls and women are lured by Muslim youths and converted into Islam and later pushed into terror activities like this, other illegal activities, Prostitution etc.

It has come into light that Aysha was Hindu born (known as Asha – before conversion) and was converted into Islam after marrying a Muslim man. She has three children.

It is said that they had shifted to Panjimogaru over 10 years ago, and that her husband Zubair runs a beedi business. Aysha is said to be originally from Madikeri in Coorg.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal held a press meet where VHP leader Jagadish Shenava told that a Hindu woman converted to Islam (Aysha Banu) had been arrested in Panjimogaru on Monday for issues related to supplying of fund to Indian Mujaheedin’s terror activities and bomb blasts.

He warned the government about the Islamic conversion centre, Ponnani in Kerala where allegedly several Hindu women are lured with love affairs and money and converted to Islam only to carry out dangerous and illegal activities like this. Hindu young women must be guard against Love Jihad which attract them towards colorful life in the beginning, but end up in jails, prostitution hubs, etc.

Gopal Kuttar of VHP, Bajrang dal leaders Bhujanga Kulal, Punith Kumar and other VHP and Bajrang Dal leaders were present.
