Government apathy to the problems of Kashmiri Hindus! – Rahul Kaul, Panoon Kashmir

Pune : The genocide of Hindus in Kashmir was and is on religious lines and should be investigated. Kashmiri Hindus working in Kashmir under Pradhan Mantri Yojana have not been paid for the last 4 months. They are fasting. They are being systematically targeted and killed. This has created a fear in them. The present government is ignoring their problems. If militancy in Kashmir is to end, all Kashmiri Hindus should be resettled in one place. They should be reassured of safety and a separate Central Government administered terrority (Homeland) must be set up for them said Mr. Rahul Kaul of Panun Kashmir. At this time the secretary of ‘Youth for Panoon Kashmir’ Mr. Rohit Bhat, Pune Coordinator Mr. Sunil Raina, President of All India Brahmin Federation Mr. Anand Dave and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Mr. Parag Gokhale were present. Mr. Rahul Kaul said, “There have been 23 targeted killings of Hindus since 1990 in Kashmir. Those who have gone to Kashmir for work are being targeted. Hindus are being killed just by looking at Aadhaar card. The terrorists are sending a message to the government that there is no use in abrogating Article 370, Kashmir is ours. It is very wrong that the current government is looking at the killings of Hindus in Kashmir from a ‘secular’ perspective. Only Hindus have been kicked out of Kashmir in the last 3 decades. At present the situation is worse than that of 1990s. The present government does not have any concrete and actionable program for repatriation (re-settlement of displaced Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir) of Kashmiri Hindus. Just giving a job will not help. How to bring other Kashmiri Hindus to Kashmir?
