Proposed anti-Hindu Bills are assault on Hindu Dharma!

Solapur: A rally was taken out by Hindu organizations and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to protest against the proposed anti-Hindu Acts of the State Government on 'Black Magic' and 'Taking Over Management of Temples'. In the end, the agitators submitted a representation to the deputy Tehsildar listing out their demands.

Leaders of several Hindu organizations and trustees of temples took part in the rally. The rally concluded with a meeting, which was addressed by leaders of these organizations. The speakers said that temples are our pride, our identity. The proposed Temple Take-Over Act is an assault on Hindu Dharma. It is necessary that Hindus too become a vote-bank. The Government can dare to take such decisions only because Hindus are not united.

A rally was therefore, organized to register strong protest against the two Acts on behalf of trustees of various temples and religious institutions as also proud Hindus. Representation stating demands was handed over to the district collector. About 800 proud Hindus participated in the rally. The representation was also read out first to the participants in the meeting held concluding the rally. All nuances of the proposed law were discussed.
