Paush Shuklapaksha 14, Kaliyug Varsha 5114

Prayagraj (UP) : Preparations of second holy bath have started in ‘Kumbh-nagari’ which is scheduled on 27th January. It is said that Shankaracharyas of all 4 ‘Peethas’ would be attending this bath; however, presently, it is confirmed that Swami Swarupananda Saraswati, Shankaracharya of ‘Sharda Peeth’ would be in ‘Kumbh-nagari’ on 25th January. Ashram of Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalananda Saraswati of ‘Puri-Peeth’ is also being erected in ‘Kumbh-nagari’. It is said that Shankaracharya of ‘Shrungeri-Peeth’ too would be present for the second holy bath. None of the Shankaracharyas were present for the first holy bath; therefore, billions of devotees and Saints- Mahants were feeling bad of taking first holy bath in the absence of ‘Dharmagurus’.
