Hindus who donate money for the temples, they should also give time for Dharma

While participating in the discussions held on the subject of  temple takeover by the Government during the morning session of the Convention, Mr. Goenka said, ‘the politicians wear Muslim caps for earning their votes. The day when Hindus will have their vote-bank, these same politicians will start keeping shendi like the Hindus. Muslims can offer their namaz on the roads today. In contrast, Hindus have to take permission of all the concerned if they want to arrange any programme in the temple. We need to change this situation. Hindus today are drifting away from the Hindu Dharmakarya (Activities for Dharma). There are Hindus who donate money for the temples; but now they should also give time for Dharma.

A  curriculum for temple management is necessary  !

There are a whole lot of management institutes that offer ‘Masters of Business Management (MBA)’ for managing industry; but no such course for ‘Temple  Management’ exists. We need to start such course. There is such course for Buddhist monks in Shanghai where 38 monks are taking such training.’
