Rajura(Dist.Chandrapur,Maharashtra) : Activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) met Principals of various colleges requesting them to create awareness among students and dissuading them from celebrating ‘Valentine Day’. A representation to that effect was also submitted to the Principals and police.

Celebrating ‘Valentine Day’ is like turning students to materialism and immorality. Expressing love for just one day is only at physical level. Young girls and boys get married at early age and repent later. Students should learn about our great Hindu culture and try to abide by it, says the representation. HJS activists Mr. Namdev Urkude, Suresh Bobade, Vinod Kongre, Krushna Khandale, Badal Bele, Santosh Dixit, Bajarang Dal’s Datta Kulkarni and devout Hindus viz. Amit Jaipurkar, Monu Tiwari, Mangesh Shriram and Mayur Gaurkar were present on the occasion.
