Effect of HJS protest: Conversion program cancelled

Mumbai: Last month, a program organized by Christian Missionaries at Kalidas theatre in Mulund, a suburb of Mumbai, to convert Hindus under the guise of curing incurable diseases was foiled with the efforts of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

The program was to be held again on 3rd December at the same venue; but it was later cancelled. The manager of the theatre told Shri. Satish Kocharekar, a member of HJS that the Christian organization had earlier planned to have such program on first Monday of every month, however, none of them have approached the theatre management in this connection. When the management contacted the missionaries, it was told that the program has since been cancelled.
