3-day ‘Online’ All India Lawyers Convention organised by Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad begins !

Proceedings of all legal cases should be carried out via video conferencing ! : Supreme Court lawyer Subhash Jha

“A case that can be completed in ten minutes keeps getting pushed ahead by 10 days. On the other hand, cases that truly deserve more time, are wrapped up within 2 minutes. From my experience of 33 years, I have realised that the judiciary of our country requires serious reforms. The convenience of video conferencing is permitted in places like Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha where confidential matters are discussed. Why then is video conferencing not used in the delivery of justice ? In several countries across the world, common people can watch the entire judicial process via video conferencing at any given time. In India, however, the delivery of justice via video conferencing has begun only after the lockdown was implemented due to Corona pandemic. The Judiciary needs to make this process more robust. If the judiciary is not planning to implement the video conferencing process as a permanent feature, then the Centre should interfere and pass an ordinance to make video recording of all legal proceedings mandatory,” Supreme Court lawyer, Subhash Jha has demanded. Adv. Jha was speaking on the topic of ‘Corona pandemic: The current state of the judiciary’, at the 3-day Online All India Lawyers Convention organised by Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad aimed at the establishment of Hindu Rashtra.

The convention commenced from Delhi with the lighting of the lamp at the hands of Sadguru (Dr) Charudatta Pingale, National Guide, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Sadguru (Dr) Pingale imparted guidance to those present on the subject of ‘The contribution of lawyers as Sadhana in the establishment of Hindu Rashtra’. He said, “Through the medium of this convention, we need to bring together nationalistic and righteous lawyers. The social structure is based on laws. Therefore, the role of lawyers in the upliftment of the nation, is valuable. Lawyers should work towards fighting against the injustice meted out to the Hindu community.” While speaking at the occasion, Adv. Virendra Ichalkaranjikar, National President, Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad, spoke on the topic of ‘The contribution of lawyers in the establishment of Hindu Rashtra’.

A host of dignitaries addressed the audience. Supreme Court lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain who fought the Ram temple case, spoke about ‘The work of protection of Nation and Dharma done through the filing of petitions’; Adv. Ankur Sharma from Jammu spoke about his legal struggles while fighting against ‘Land Jihad’ in Jammu; Hindu Janjagran Manch’s Adv. Rajeeb Nath from Assam spoke about the work done as a part of the legal fight to prevent Love Jihad and forced religious conversion; and Adv. Krishnamurti of Bengaluru who shared details of his work done for the protection of the society during the Corona crisis. The convention paid a tribute to the deceased Kashmiri Hindu Sarpanch, Ajay Pandita by condemning his killing by Jihadi terrorists.
