Ganesha festival committees given guidance by HJS at Vasai

Vasai (Dist. Thane, Maharashtra): Mr. Sadanand Panchal of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) made an appeal for prevention of malpractices in celebration Ganesha festival by public committees and for its celebration in ideal manner as per spiritual science. He guided the office bearers of public Ganesha Festival Coomittees in a meeting held on 24th August at Vishwakarma Hall in the jurisdiction of Vasai – Manikpur Police Station.  A VCD titled ‘Celebration of Ganesha Festival – facts and ideal way’ on how to celebrate this festival in an ideal manner was also shown on the occasion. 250 members of various Ganesha festival committees attended this program along with eminent personalities like Mr. Chandrakant Jadhav, senior Police Superintendent of Manikpur Police Station, Mr. Deepak Deora, the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of Vasai – Virar Municipal Corporation and Speaker Mr. Narayan Mankar.

Benefits of not using candle to light lamps in inauguration programs were also explained on the occasion by HJS activists. As a result, Chairman of Vasai – Virar Municipal Corporation Mr. Narayan Mankar carried out change and used oil-lamp for inauguration of the program.
